We examine the site and the floor you want to have installed. How high should the concrete be? What load must the substrate bear? Where should the rainwater go? These choices determine the preparation.

This is how we prepare the works

Subsoil, floor level and water drainage are considered together with the following works.

What needs to be clear beforehand?
The desired final height partly determines the necessary preparation. Consider thresholds, garage doors, existing paths, and the connection to the street. For outdoor paving, this also includes the route of the rainwater.
Indicate whether there are pipes, pits or other underground installations present. Available plans help to prepare the work. Access to the site and space to deliver materials are also important.
Adapting the substructure to the use
A terrace experiences different loads than a driveway used by vehicles. The condition of the soil and the future use partly determine the necessary substructure. We discuss this structure before the concrete work begins.
At permeable surfacing with DRAINIX must allow water to pass through the entire structure. With exposed aggregate concrete the heights and drainage are adjusted according to the design.
Clear agreements about the preparation
Indicate which works you want to have carried out by Glansbeton and what is already being done by someone else. Also discuss existing soil, current surfacing and any supply or removal. The quote will specify which parts are included.
The transition to formwork, reinforcement and pouring must be well planned. By reviewing the work together, dimensions and connections can be coordinated before execution.
What determines the price of groundworks?
The scope of the work, the condition of the terrain, accessibility, and the required structure all matter. Therefore, the number of square metres alone does not provide a complete picture of the assignment.
Send us your location, dimensions, photos and desired timing. Add a plan with heights if you have one. Also mention which preparations are already done, so the quote matches the work still needed.
