From dimensions to concrete order

Calculate concrete quantity

How many m³ of concrete do you need for your floor, terrace or driveway? Enter the length, width and thickness. The calculator converts the dimensions into cubic metres of concrete.

How to calculate the volume

Length × width × thickness = amount of concrete in m³. Use metres for the calculation. A thickness of 20 cm is 0,20 m. In the calculator you can choose m, cm or mm separately for each dimension; the entered measurement will then be converted automatically.

A floor of 10 metres long and 10 metres wide, with a thickness of 20 cm:
10 × 10 × 0,20 = 20 m³ concrete.
With 1 m³ reserve you order 21 m³ concrete.

A floor with multiple sections

Divide an L-shape or several rooms into rectangles. Calculate each part separately and add the volumes. Does the thickness vary per part? Then use the correct thickness for each part.

How much concrete should you order?

We always add 1 m³ extra to the calculated volume. This way you have a reserve for the execution. With large height differences or long pump lines, more may be needed; check this in advance with the contractor.

Besides the quantity, the composition must also be correct. Read which data belongs on your concrete order.
