The correct height at doors, thresholds and drains
The top of the concrete must align with doors, thresholds and other floors. Outside, slopes and drainage points must also be fixed. An incorrect floor level cannot simply be corrected after pouring.
We discuss those connections before execution. Indicate where the rainwater should go and which heights are already fixed.
Which edges remain visible?
An edge that will be concealed later requires a different finish than an edge that remains visible. If you want a specific shape or appearance, please indicate this with your request. A sketch or example photo helps to discuss the detail.

What do we need on your floor plan?
Specify the external dimensions, floor heights and connections. Also mark columns, pits, thresholds, ducts and recesses. Add photos of the current situation.
Agree on who prepares the substrate, insulation and reinforcement. These works must align with the formwork and the pouring. Also take a look at our polished concrete floors and washed concrete floors.
What determines the price of the formwork?
For formwork, the work on the edges is especially important. A rectangular floor requires less edge work than a floor with many corners, curves or recesses. The height and the desired edge finish also affect the price.
Send us your plan, site address and desired timing. Indicate what has already been prepared and whether we are also placing the concrete floor. This way we can include the entire assignment in the quote.

Can I prepare the formwork myself?
That can be arranged. First coordinate the dimensions, heights, strength and connections with us. The formwork must be checked before pouring.
Does a terrace need to be completely level?
No. A terrace must direct rainwater to the designated drain. The slope and connection to the house are therefore determined before the formwork is set up.
