A beautiful concrete path starts before pouring. In Hasselt, we install the formwork for curved garden paths that will later be finished as exposed aggregate concrete with Castle gravel.
Formwork that defines the shape of the paths
The formwork sets the shape and edges of the future paths. On this site, the paths follow flowing curves along the house and through the garden. These shapes require carefully placed formwork so that the different sections fit together neatly.

Protection before the concrete arrives
Besides the formwork, we protect facades and adjacent parts with plastic. This way, we prepare the work area for pouring. In the video, you can see both the curves of the formwork and the protection around the house.

The next step: exposed aggregate concrete with Castle gravel
After this preparation, the pouring and washing follow. The planned finish with champagne-beige Castle gravel gives the paths their final character. Read more about exposed aggregate concrete with Castle gravel.
We will supplement this site article later with images of the finished result.
